Made from 316-grade
stainless steel, D&D HaspLock is especially ideal
for use in marine or other corrosion-prone environments. It is highly
resistant to hacksawing, levering and oxyacetylene cutting. In many
situations, D&D HaspLock can be used as add-on security simply to
bolster existing door locks. The conventional padlock and staple
concept is replaced with a single body with a locking tongue and
large casing. The tongue intersects the hasp to enable the system
to be locked securely. D&D HaspLock comes in three different models.
The 'Regular' model offers simple, pivot-style mounting to flat surfaces
such as retail and factory shopfronts. The 'Single Hinge' model allows
the pivoting point to be located "around the side" (side-mounted)
for specific applications, or, potentially, for added security (e.g.
trade toolboxes). The 'Double Hinge' model is ideal for those difficult
applications such as around vending machines, awkwardly rounded corner-fixing
applications, or severely offset fixing situations. D&D HaspLock
is designed to be face-mounted or through-mounted onto a door with
all outward facing screws hidden from view and any potential manipulation
when locked.
