its founding in the late 1980s, D&D Technologies has

Our
commitment to innovation and quality began with the award-winning
swimming pool and child safety gate products MAGNA•LATCH,
a revolutionary magnetically triggered gate latch, and TRU•CLOSE
hinges, tension-adjustable (self-closing) gate hinges.

Our
aim was, and still is, to reduce toddler drownings in swimming
pools (and near drownings inflicting brain damage), but our horizons
have expanded to encompass a comprehensive range of safety and
security products.
It
is also our policy to work closely with the fencing and security
industries, safety groups and community organizations at
an international level to achieve common goals. This co-operation
extends to everything from product feedback, customer service,
sales support, and joint marketing and promotions. It is
D&D’s belief that only through understanding our
clients’ needs can we better understand and satisfy
the end-users’ needs.
